Caledonia Lady O’’ Mystic Grove
It was a warm summer’s day, the end of July, 2004, when two 6 month old “show prospects, Blake and Morgan showed up at Mystic Grove. Blake would eventually continue on his travels until he got to his “forever home" at Chenoa’s house in Arizona.

You can see all the updates regarding Blake on his mother’s website: http://www.takodacollies.com/
It didn’t take too long for us to see that Morgan expected to become top Princess here at Mystic Grove, and of course we were more than happy to oblige.
She adored getting her picture taken and loved to travel to shows, but she just didn’t see the point in trotting around the ring and being judged! In her mind, why should she, she was a Princess after all!
She was in charge of making sure all the wee beasties of Mystic Grove kept in order and followed the rules, Or should I say her rules! She is definitely a serious contender for alpha bitch here at Mystic Grove!
As Morgan grew and blossomed, we were still hopeful that Showing in Conformation would be something she would give another try, or maybe even Obedience, Agility, and Rally… something!!
But she still had no inclination to do anything other than tend to her daily chores at Mystic Grove, such as making sure no big birds land in the yard, all doggies are well fed and potties without anyone fighting. To make sure the Fed-Ex, UPS or Mail man do not come any closer to the front door than she feels proper, when Daddy isn’t home! We finally figured Morgan out; Morgan was a Home Body, plain and simple. Of course there is nothing wrong with that since Daddy and I are Home Bodies too!
Steven and I decided that when she was old enough and ready, we would find just the right “Beau and she would have a beautiful litter of puppies!
Well, this past February 20, 2006, Morgan gave birth to 6 gorgeous collie puppies. 5 sable girls and 1 tri girl and we were ever hopeful that one or two of her puppies might become our show hopefuls! We named them after one of my favorite movies of all times,
Gone With the Wind.
I will post pictures of them as they grow as their new owners send them to me. As for the Show Prospects in Edmonton, Canada,
You can see “Belle (Sue-Ellen) and Ami (Ashley) on http://www.sheltiesofprairiemist.com/belleamicollies.html
